Cooking & Traveling Blog
Frontend Framework built with Reactjs for WordPress
Speed & flexibility are of vital importance when it comes to web development.
Why Ruth’s blog was coded with Frontity?
The challenge was to build something that can scale, but still have great performarnce.
My wife, Ruth wanted to build a blog where she can share all of her amazing experiences related to cooking. She imagined that this could become a platform with over 1000 recipes and people can find all kinds of foods there.
Given those requirements i knew that this should be something out of the box in terms of connecting a CMS like WordPress with some fast frontend framework like React JS. So i did some research on WordPress REST API with React and WordPress Headless and that’s how i came into Frontity
I had a lot of fun coding my wife’s website https://ruthgeorgiev.com and i must say this was my first experience using Frontity. The Frontity community is great & full of supportive people. So as a result at the end all worked well. Ruth’s website is very fast, mobile friendly and easy extendable. Looking forward to build more components on Ruth’s website.
